Pediatric & Family Dentistry
Our office is designed to make all members of a family’s visit a positive experience. Free wifi and televisions are available throughout the office to help make the experience more enjoyable. A child’s first visit to the dentist is important. A positive experience sets them up for a lifetime of dental greatness. They’re shown the dental tools and an explanation of the clean process is given. “How to Brush” demonstrations are done and they are given a new toothbrush. The kids are also taken to the “toy box” at the end of the visit if they have good behavior.
To keep the teeth in good health, children should receive regular dental checkups. At the most basic level, the exam will involve the dentist cleaning and inspecting the child’s teeth. The dentist will also discuss the child’s oral habits and provide demonstrations. At appropriate checkups, the dentist will likely talk about different activities, items, and foods that may have a negative impact on oral health if they are not stopped or minimized.
